Romance Hotel Tuchmacher

The Romantik Hotel Tuchmacher, two Renaissance patrician houses lovingly restored by the Vits family and converted into a hotel, invites you to visit the heart of the old town. Live in a monument from the early 16th century!

The Renaissance building, erected in 1528 by the Görlitz master builder Wendel Roskopf, which is entered through a richly decorated sandstone portal, still has important parts of the historical furnishings with valuable Gothic vaults and magnificently painted wooden beam ceilings from the Baroque period and thus an unmistakable, pleasant atmosphere. In 1998, the Tuchmacher, which consisted of four connected buildings, was converted into a hotel and carefully renovated. The Romantik Hotel has 60 stylish and comfortably furnished rooms and suites along with banquet and conference rooms as well as a modern wellness oasis with a fitness area. In the "Schneider Stube", the wood-panelled restaurant, specialties from Saxony and Silesia as well as upscale and creative cuisine with discreet accents are served by our chef Robert Kalich.
